The system of inequality associated with the graph are

y < -2

y ≥ x + 1

How to find the equations

The horizontal line have the equation y < -2

The equation of the sloping line is solved to be in the slope intercept form

y = mx + b

Where

m = slope

b = y-intercept (the value of y when x is zero)

slope = change in y / change in x

slope = (0 - 1) / (1 - 0)

slope = -1

The y intercept from the graph is 1

The equation is y = -x + 1

Adding the inequality we have

y ≥ x + 1
