Most leopards are golden in color with large, circular black spots to provide camouflage. There is one gene that controls the amount of pigments produced by a cell in order to create that color. A mutation on that gene can have any of the following effects. Which is the most likely result of a mutation if the leopard lives in a dense forest?

a white leopard, with albinism
a normal colored leopard
a black leopard, with melanism
no leopard, it would not survive the mutation
