Any individual who performs work for or on behalf of a person who holds a license must have a valid permit issued by OLCC if the individual participates:

The possession, securing or selling of marijuana items at the premises

Recording of the possession, securing or selling of marijuana items at the premises
Verification of of any document described in in ORS 475B.170.

A person who holds a license under ORS 475B.110 must verify that an individual has a valid permit issued under ORS 475B.218 before allowing the individual to perform any work

The only exception to this is for labs- they don't need to have Worker Permits 475B.215

Final answer:

Individuals who work for or on behalf of a licensed person in relation to marijuana items in Oregon need a valid permit issued by the OLCC, except for lab workers. The permit is required for activities such as possession, selling, recording, and document verification.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the context of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) and the possession, securing, and selling of marijuana items, individuals who perform work for or on behalf of a licensed person must have a valid permit issued by the OLCC. This includes participating in activities such as possessing, securing, selling, recording, and verifying documents related to marijuana items. However, there is an exception for labs, as they are not required to have worker permits.
