Diseases have been present in the world since antiquity, being a problem that directly causes many harm to society and human beings.
It is unfair to compare current illnesses with those of yesteryear. This is because, first, today we know diseases better, we have more advanced ways of treating them, we know the organisms than the causes and we can promote ways to avoid them. The people of old, did not have this type of information, which made illnesses stronger and more violent, causing many deaths and problems.
But this is not the only difference between old and current diseases. That's because we currently have a stronger immune system than people in the past. This is because our immune system is strengthened with vaccines that we have taken throughout our lives, which did not previously exist. In addition, with the more globalized and interconnected world, disease transmission becomes faster than it used to be.
Therefore, we can say that the diseases are different according to the time when they are being analyzed. These differences prevent them from being compared, since they have such different variables.
