The values of x and y are 85° and 65° respectively.

In the smallest triangle the third angle is

180 - ( 90+20)

= 180 - 110

= 70°

Therefore x

x = 180 - ( 70 + 25)

x = 180 - 95

x = 85°

To calculate the value of angle y

x = 20 + y ( exterior angle theorem)

85 = 20 + y

y = 85 - 20

y = 65

Therefore, the values of x and y are 85° and 65° respectively.
