Answer:

Given: The mean of x + 2, 2x + 3, 3x + 4 and 4x + 5 is x + 2

Mean = 4(x+2)+(2x+3)+(3x+4)+(4x+5)

⇒x+2=410x+14

⇒4x+8=10x+14

⇒6x=−6

⇒x=−1
