The value of x in the triangle is 10

The sum of angles in a triangle is 180° . Triangle can be of different types. An isosceles triangle is a type of triangle that has 2 sides and 2 corresponding angles equal.

Exterior angle theorem states the sum of two interior angles of a triangle is equal to the opposite exterior angle.

angle STU = angle SRT

therefore;

180- 10x + 8x - 60 = 10x

180 -60 = 10x + 2x

120 = 12x

x = 120/12

x = 10

Therefore, the value of x is 10
