Make sure you learn any words that ends in ER! you would have to use the verbs. Here are some to begin with

(I) Je = e
(You) Tu = es
He/ She) Il/elle = e
(We) Nous = ons
(You all) vous = ez
(He’s/ She’s) Ils / Elles = ent

For example,

Nous écounter —-> Nous écourtons
Translation: We Listen

Because you used nous (we) you would add (ons) at the end.
