Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

A recursive rule, is a rule that allows a term in the sequence to be found by multiplying the preceding term by the common ratio (r)

here r = 3 , then with
a_(n) being a term and
a_(n-1) , the preceding term, then

a_(n) = 3
a_(n-1)

3

the explicit rule allows any term in the sequence to be found

the explicit rule for a geometric sequence is

a_(n) = a₁
(r)^(n-1)

a₁ is the first term, r the common ratio , n the term number

here a₁ = 2 and r = 3 , then explicit rule is

a_(n) = 2
(3)^(n-1)
