Answer:

a) 1/(x+1)

b) (x-3)/(x+2)

c) (4x+12 / (x-3)

Explanation:

a) (x-1)/(x^2-1) = [ (x-1)/(x+1)(x-1)]

= 1/(x+1)

b) (x^2 - 5x + 6)/((x^2 - 4) = [(x-2)(x-3)]/[(x+2)(x-2)]
= (x-3)/(x+2)

c) (4x^2-36)/(x^2-6x+9) = [ 4(x+3)(x-3)] / [ (x-3)(x-3)]
= 4(x + 3)/(x-3)

= (4x + 12)/((x-3)
