Answer:

solution: x=6

Explanation:

8(2x-14)+13=4x-27

next, distribute 8 through the parentheses

16x-112+13=4x-27

calculate the sum

16x-99=4x-27

move the variable to the left-hand side and change it's sign

16x-4x-99=-27

move the constant to the right-hand side and change it's sign

16x-4x=-27+99

collect like terms

12x= -27+99

calculate the sum

12x=72

divide both sides of the equation by 12

x=6

final solution: x=6
