y= -3/2x + 11/2
Create a T chart or use y2-y1/x2-x1 to find the slope, which is -3/2. Then use y=mx+b and plug in one set of points to get the b, which is 11/2, therefore the answer will be y=-3/2x+11/2.

y = mx + b

m = (y₂-y₁) / (x₂-x₁)

m = ( -5 - (-2) ) / (7-5)

m = (-5+2) / (2)

m = -³/₂

y-y₁ = m(x-x₁)

y - (-2) = -³/₂(X-5)

y + 2 = -³/₂X + ³/₂(5)

y + 2 = -³/₂X + ¹⁵/₂

y = -³/₂X + ¹⁵/₂ - 2

Y = -³/₂X + ¹¹/₂
