a = -bc

Explanation:

We are given the equation:

c = -a/b

Because multiplication and division are inverse operations, if we move b over to the other side, since it was dividing on the right side, it would be multiplied on the other side (I don't know how to explain that well)

so you can make it look like this:

b*c = -a

Or:

-a = b*c

Then, do isolate a, we will have to divide by -1 on both sides

a = -b*c

To check this, we can plug in numbers

-8 = -16/2

-16 = -8*2

16 = 8 * 2
