Which person would be the least effective host for a pathogen?

Answer: B. a young athlete.

Explanation: A pathogen is not going to want to live in a healthy host they will want to be in a host who is more susceptible to diseases. Like an older person, a smoker, or a sick person, etc. So, it would be LEAST effective if a host lived in a young athlete.
