Slope: 1/4
Y intercept: -2

Slope= (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
Use the two points:
(-3+1)/(-4-4)= -2/-8 = 1/4 or 0.25

To find y intercept:
Plug in the slope and one of the points to the linear function equation: y=mx+b

-1=0.25(4)+b
-1=1+b
b=-2
