Kristina's father is putting in a new kitchen countertop. It is rectangular in shape and measures 1 3/4 yard long and 1/2 yard wide. Kristina's mother wants at least one square yard of countertop. Did she get her wish? Tell how you know without calculating the area of the countertop plz help me.
