Answer: They are both 1.99 a pound.

Explanation:

So we need to find the price per pound to compare the two choices. You take the price then divide it by the number of pounds. 15.92/8=1.99. So $1.99 a pound and then the same for 9.95/5 which is also equal to 1.99. Both come out to be 1.99 per pound so there is no better buy. Cost would be same.
