Answer: 490 degrees

Work Shown

n = number of sides of a polygon

S = sum of the interior angles of a polygon

S = 180(n-2)

For a pentagon we'll have n = 5, so,

S = 180(n-2)

S = 180(5-2)

S = 180(3)

S = 540

The interior angles of a pentagon add to 540 degrees.

If one of those angles is 50 degrees, then the remaining four others must add to 490 degrees because 540-50 = 490
