Depends on what the choices are. Could be 3 of 1 thing and 3 of another. Leaving a 50/50 chance of either one.

But In your case I “assume” there is 1 lemon out of 6 oranges for example.

So Out of 100% divided equally by 6. You’d have a 16.666666667 chance of picking any of the six. So because of this You’d have a 16% chance of getting a lemon out of a bin with 5 other things inside.

So your probability of getting a Lemon is Obviously a 1/6 with a 16% chance of getting a Lemon
