Why was John's baptism of Jesus different from his baptism of other people? Answer using complete sentences.

It is completely impossible for Jesus to be baptized for forgiveness for sin when he can't sin. Most other baptisms are to become a new person in Christ, so Christ can't be a new person in himself. God is new and old and he knows beginning and end.

Jesus was holy and Jesus is the son of God, and when Jesus was baptized the heaven opened and Holy Spirit came from heaven in the form of a dove. And when heaven opened God said, “This is my own dear son with whom I am pleased.”
