If (y + 1) varies directly as square root of x and y =14 when x = 27, find the value of y when

x = 64 without finding the variation constant.​

so we solve for K

given: 14 + 1 = K√27

15 = K√27

divide both sides by √27

15/√27 = K

to find the value of y

i.e Y = 120/√27 - 1

Y = 23.1 - 1
