What are the characteristics of the image?
The properties of an image produced by a plane mirror are:
- It appears as a virtual replica, maintaining an upright orientation while being laterally flipped.
- The distance between the object and the mirror equals the distance between the mirror and its image.
- Both the object and its corresponding image share an identical size.
- Given a scenario where the object stands 5cm away from the plane mirror, its image will be projected at a corresponding distance of 5cm on the opposite side of the mirror.
