The radius of the sphere is 8 in. Option A

The formula for calculating surface area is expressed as;

Surface area = 4πr²,

where r is the radius of sphere.

Now, we have to substitute the value of the surface area of the sphere as given into the formula, we get that;

803.84 = 4 × 3.14 r²

Multiply the values, we get;

803.84 = 12.56r²

Divide both sides by the coefficient, we get that;

r² = 64

Now, find the square root of both sides, we get;

r = √64

r = 8 in
