In a case whereby Adrian says that 4(-9) =36 the reason Adrian incorrect is that she does not put negative sign in his answer one change I can make to Adrian's equation to make it correct is to add negative sign to 36

What is the correct equation?

Given that

4(-9) =36

It can be seen that when we multiply a positive value to a negative value then the product that will give us should be a negative value and that was the mistake that was made in the equation above

Hence the correct equation can be expressed as 4(-9) =-36

complete question;

A. Adrian says that 4(-9) =36. Why is Adrian incorrect? B. What is one change you can make to Adrian's equation to make it correct?
