Answer:

x=0\\y=-5

Explanation:

Im going to solve by substitution so I will isolate y on one side with the first equation

-10x-y=5

Add y on both sides

-10x=5+y

Subtract 5 on both sides

-10x-5=y

Now we fill in y in the second equation

-9x+2(-10x-5)=-10\\-9x-20x-10=-10\\-29x-10=-10

Add 10 on both sides

-29x=0

Divide both sides by - 29

x=0

Now that we know x we fill in that to find y and I will use the first equation

-10(0)-y=5\\-y=5

Divide both sides by -1

y=-5

Hope this helps please let know if you have any further questions
