So, first do the parentheses first and since 3x8 comes first do that which it will be 24 and then subtract 24-7= 17

When you get this we then have to divide it is whatever comes first for multiplication or division from left to right we have to do first and in this case 34divded by 17 which is 2.

The next step is multiplying 2x3 which gives us 6

and now we start from beginning again which is 1 minus 2 which gives use - 1 and we subtract again -1 subtract in other words now add which gives use negative -7 as our final number
