Length of a rectangle
= \tt (1)/(3) \: yards

Width of a rectangle
= \tt (2)/(3) \: yards

We know that :

▪︎Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of this rectangle :

= \tt length * breadth

= \tt (1)/(3) * (2)/(3)

\color{plum} = \tt (2)/(9) \: yards

Therefore, the area of this rectangle
\color{plum} = \tt (2)/(9) \: yards
