The cylindrical barrel contains 6.283185 cubic meters of water.

How to find volume?

To calculate the volume of water in the cylindrical barrel:

Calculate the volume of the entire barrel:

Volume of a cylinder = πr²h

π (3.14159) = constant

r = radius = 1 m

h = height = 2 m

Therefore, the volume of the entire barrel is:

V_{barrel= π × 1² × 2

= 6.283185 × 2

= 12.56637 m³

Since the barrel is half filled with water, divide the total volume by 2.

V_(water) = (V_(barrel))/(2 )

= 12.56637 m³ / 2

= 6.283185 m³

Therefore, the cylindrical barrel contains 6.283185 cubic meters of water.
