We use the simple Circuit with Compass: as it is perfect for classrooms or home demonstrations as it uses readily available materials and is easy to explain.
The are Components : Battery, Switch, Insulated wire (long enough to make a loop), Compass, Stand or holder for the wire and compass.
When the switch is closed, electricity flows through the wire, creating a magnetic field around it. This magnetic field interacts with the needle of the compass, causing it to deviate from its north-south alignment. The direction of the deflection depends on the direction of the current flow, which can be determined using the right-hand rule.
