becoming shaded. In a few more minutes, the
sky is perceptibly darker, and I do believe the
wind has stopped railing. When the eclipse is
total, when we stand, hushed, in the eerie dark.
it's science and poetry intertwined, and I know
that I will be at the next poetry reading with a
poem in hand, that I will capture this moment
and preserve it and share it and that science
and poetry can be one and the same.
