The equivalent resistance of the circuit is 803.9 Ω.

The current through the 7 kΩ and 6 kΩ is 0.0159 A and 0.0185 A respectively.

How to calculate the equivalent resistance?

The equivalent resistance of the circuit is calculated by segmenting the circuit as follows;

R₁ and R₂ are in parallel

R₃ and R₄ are in parallel

R₅ and R₆ are in series

The total series resistance of the combinations;

R₅₆ = 1 kΩ + 6 kΩ = 7 kΩ

The equivalent resistance of the circuit is calculated as

1/R = 1/7 + 1/7 + 1/2 + 1/8 + 1/3

1/R = 1.244

R = 1/1.244

R = 0.8039 kΩ

R = 803.9 Ω

The current through the 7 kΩ and 6 kΩ is calculated as;

I₇ = V / R

I₇ = 111 V / (7,000 Ω)

I₇ = 0.0159 A

I₆ = ( 111 V ) / ( 6,000 Ω)

I₆ = 0.0185 A
