Hello there, ThatKing!

Between 1778 and 1782, the French provided the desperate Continental Army with food, equipment and ammunition, clothing, and, most significantly, soldiers and naval support. The French naval deployed reinforcements destroyed a British fleet and provided protection for Washington's forces in Virginia.

France supplied the funds, troops, equipment, military leadership, and naval assistance that changed the balance of military strength in favor of the United States and laid the groundwork for the Continental army's eventual success.

Have an amazing day!
