Kinetic energy is energy that is released when an object is in motion
Eg: a ball falling from a building

Potential energy is energy that is stored inside an object at rest
Eg: a ball kept on a table

Answer:

Kinetic energy has its determining factors and those are mass and speed or velocity

whereas the determining factors of potential energy are height, distance and mass.

EXAMPLE OF K.E

kinetic energy could be flowing water...

EXAMPLE OF P.E

potential energy is the water that is present at the top of the hill.
