So lets find the equal sides:

  • JK = QP
  • KL = QR
  • JL = PR

here x is QP so it is similar to JK, if the other sides are equal:


  • (x)/(5) =(8)/(10) ⇒ x = (8*5)/10 = 4

and


  • (x)/(3) = (8)/(6) ⇒ ( 8*3)/6 = 4

Here in A,

if cross multiplied,

x = (8*5)/10

x = 4
