what is f(g(-3))?

Answer: C) 20
Explanation: Subsitute (-3) into the g(x) equation so you get g(-3)= (-3)^2-1= 9-1=8
Then replace the x as 8 in f(x) and you get 3(8)-4=24-4= 20.
