Explanation:

All triangles have a total of 180 degrees angles. If we know all but one value, we can just subtract all of the angles to find the angle of Y.

180 - 28 = 152

152 - 72 = 80

80 - 46 = 34

The only angle left, Angle Y, then must be 34 degrees.
