Answer: x=-2 y=8

Explanation:

multipying 2x+5y=36 by 3

multipying 3x+12y=90 by -2

6x+15=108

-6x-24y=-180

sum the equations

-9y=-72

y=8

put y in one of the equations and find x

2x+5y=36

2x+5*8=36

2x+40=36

2x=36-40

2x=-4

x=-2
