The average velocity of tennis ball is measured during serving and found to be 216km/hr calculate the time elapsed between hitting the ball and meeting the ground if the distance covered by the ball during that interval is 20m​

as it was the average velocity, we can assume the ball had the same velocity (meaning the same velocity ratio) during its trip from the time of getting hit and the time when hitting the ground. the distance of this trip was 20m

so, by keeping the same ratio, we know
