The linear equation can be written as y - 2 = -5*(x - 3)
How to write the linear equation?
The general linear equation with slope m, and a point (h, k), in point-slope form is written as:
y - k = m*(x - h)
Here we know that the slope is -5, and the known point is (3, 2), then we can see that m = -5
y - k = -5*(x - h)
replacing the values of k and h we will get:
y - 2 = -5*(x - 3)
