Answer: 3/4 and 6 feet

Explanation:

It grows 3 feet in four years.

9 feet + 3 feet = 12 feet

Let its height when it was planted is a.

a + 3 feet = 9 feet

Therefore, a = 6 feet

It grows 3 feet in four years.

So, it grows 3/4 feet in a year.

Therefore, the formula must be 3/4x+6=y
