The concentration of the HF solution is obtained as 0.000034 M.

What is neutralization reaction?

Volume of base used in trial 1 = 12.36 mL - 1.94 mL

10.42 mL

Volume of base used in trial 2 = 21.01 mL - 10.32 mL

= 10.70 mL

Volume of base used in trial 3 = 29.73 mL - 18.97 mL

= 10.76 mL

Average volume of base = 10.42 + 10.70 + 10.76 /3

= 10.63 mL

Moles of sodium hydroxide = 0.316 M * 10.63/1000 L

= 0.0034 moles

The equation of the reaction is;

NaOH + HF ---- > NaF + H_2O

Since the reaction is 1:1

Concentration of the HF = 0.0034 moles * 10/1000 L

= 0.000034 M
