Using the circle theorem :

• The angle subtended by an arc at the center is twice the angle subtended by the same arc on the circumference of the circle.

Following the theorem, Angle m∠O which is the angle at the center is :

• m∠O = 2 × m∠R

Now we have ;

m∠O = 2 × 36

m∠O = 72°

Hence, the value of m∠O is 72°
