The total volume of blood that flows through the brain in one hour is 72,000
cm^3.

From the graph, the amount of blood that flows through the brain is 600 mL per minute. The total volume of blood that flows through the brain both at rest and during exercise can be calculated as:

600 x 2 = 1,200 mL/minute

If 1,200 mL of blood flows through the brain per minute, the amount of blood that flows through the brain per hour can be calculated as follows:

1,200 = 1 minute

x = 60 minutes

x = 1,200 x 60/1

= 72,000 mL/hr

In other words, the total volume of blood that flows through the brain in one hour is 72,000
cm^3
