The areas of three flats A,B and C in the ratio 5:6:8 respectively. If the difference in the area of flat C and flat A is 270 square meters, what is the area of B in square meters

firstly, we can take 8y as area of C And 5y as area of A

so flat A has an area of 5y B his 6y and C is 8y

then 8y-5y =270

so, 3y=270

therefore y=90

area of B is found by taking B as 6y and substituting y as 90

6y=6×90=540m^ 2(square meters)
