Danny accidentally dropped a box of paperclips on the floor. Instead of picking each paper

up one by one, he decided to make an electromagnet to help pick up a bunch of paper clips
time. Below are 2 different electromagnets. Which electromagnet should he use? Please
explain why. Make sure to include the words "Magnetic Field" and "Magnetic Force" into y
explanation.

Magnet 1 should be used to pick up a bunch of paper clips at a time.

Why is this correct?

This is correct because of the correlation between the quantity of coils within an electromagnet and its magnetic potency. As an electric current passes through a wire coil, producing the electromagnet, it generates a magnetic field. Augmenting the number of wire coils, or turns around the core, elevates the intensity of this magnetic field.

Consequently, amplifying the coils within an electromagnet heightens its magnetic strength. This enhancement enables it to attract and gather a greater number of paper clips or other magnetic items in comparison to an electromagnet with fewer coils.
