The distance between them is 4340m

Newton law of Universal gravitation states that the force of attraction between two masses is directly proportional to the product of the masses and Inversely proportional to the square of distance between them.

Therefore;

F = GMm /r²

r² = GMm/F

where r is the radius and m and M are the masses of the body

r² = 6.67 × 10⁻¹¹ × 2.98 × 10⁴ × 2.98 × 10⁴ )/3.14 × 10⁻⁹

r² = 18.86 × 10⁶

r = √ 18.86 × 10⁶

r = 4340m ( nearest 3 significant figures)

Therefore, the distance between the masses is 4340m
