The solution to the inequality 3/4 - 1/2p > 5/4 for p is p < -1.

The graph of the solution to the inequality has been attached.

How to solve inequality?

3/4 - 1/2p > 5/4

Subtract 3/4 from both sides

-1/2p > 5/4 - 3/4

-1/2p > (5-3)/4

-1/2p > 2/4

Divide both sides by -1/2p

p < 2/4 ÷ -1/2

multiply by the reciprocal of -1/2

p < 2/4 × -2/1

p < -4/4

p < -1

Therefore, p is less than negative 1

The inequality three fourths minus one half times p is greater than five fourths is-example-1
