The value of x which can be used is 30 using the alternate angles theorem.

To prove that c||d , we use the theorem ;

  • m∠2 = m∠3 (Alternate angles)

3x - 25 = 2x + 5

3x - 2x = 5 + 25

x = 30

The value of x to prove c||d is x = 30 using the alternate angles theorem.
