The standard form of the linear equation is:

y - 3x = -1

How to write the line in standard form?

A linear equation written in standard form is:

A*x + B*y = C

Here we have the line:

y - 2 = 3*(x - 1)

Expanding the right side we get:

y - 2 = 3x - 3

Now move the variables to the left and the numbers to the right, we iwll get:

y - 2 = 3x - 3

y - 3x = 2 - 3

y - 3x = -1

This is the standard form.
