Slope = Rise / Run

---How much the line goes up/down, over how much the line goes left/right

We can find the slope by counting up and over, or by using the slope formula.

Slope Formula = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

Point 1 = (3, -1)

Point 2 = (-2, 3)

Slope = (3 - - 1) / (-2 - 3)

Slope = (3 + 1) / (-2 - 3)

Slope = 4 / -5

Slope = -4/5

Hope this helps!

Answer: -2/3

Explanation:

think rise over run!

rise = 4

run = 6

slope --> rise / run --> 4 / 6 --> 2 / 3

since the slope is going downwards we know it's negative

slope = -2/3
